I know Call of Duty 4 isn't about realism, but things like a Cornershot would be ridiculous... I'm not going to look it up but what group even uses that weapon?

Why do you think it is ridiculous?
Using a Grenade Launcher as a CQB weapon, that is ridiculous, but the cornershot has a very specific and realistic use, I don't see what would be wrong with that.

How are you going to implement it ingame? Lean buttons? Hold down zoom and drag the mouse? There's no way to do it without invading other functions.

Maybe hold zoom+lean could work, but there's always the risk of accidentally turning the gun and running around shooting at right angles.

It has three settings, left, right and centre, so just let it be a unlock for the pistol and have a key cycle through the three settings. I believe 8 or 9 is currently unused?

Or let it be a weapon in its own right, it doesn't make much difference.
New weapons will be released in a a patch (if ever), so they could easily add extra controls at the same time.

What I wanna know is, when the hell did it become common to beg for new weapons?
It didn`t happen in CoD, CoD2, or any other goddamn game. They may add one or two new weapons to balance sumthin sumthin, but never the sh!t half the people here want.
There is absolutely no point asking for new weapons. We will get loads of em with an expansion pack for which we gonna pay, never for free. Same with vehicles n sh!t. It`s ridiculous.
