Can't hit anything with the Barrett

Is it just me, or does the Barrett just not work as well as the other sniper rifles?


I swear, I have them dead in sights, and hit nothing. I do not see ANY impact anywhere. At least when I miss with the other rifles, I can see where I missed by the impact. It's like the bullet just disappears....

Any ideas?

Happens a few times, but the barrett has more "deviation" per say that the other rifles.

Try it with the ACOG scope, makes it far easier.

I was just complaining about it about 10 minutes ago, lol.

While many will argue for it, I strongly believe that the M40 and the Dragunov are much better rifles.

I think its fine... i'm surprised sometimes by how when I don't think I hit... I do.

I just today put the barret onto my secondary sniper kit. And i noticed the same thing...

I miss a lot more with it...

I think the barret is the easiest rifle to use, especially with the Acog.

haven't unlocked that one yet,but i have picked it up a few times,seems ok

i prefer the stock rifle i can hit moving targets with ease,

also the m21 semi is another fav of mine.

I just like decided to put it in my kit and expected to insta own anything :S Are you guys from the Matrix or something so you can upload all the skills into your head the minute you pick something up?

i just started using snipers the last few days, in the time it took to get 30 kills with the barret then gave up, i had 100 and the acog unlocked with the m21? -semi auto one-

barret is just too 'clunky' its like you have to man handle it to get any response where as the others are more fine tuned.

I just used the Barrett for a full round a few hours ago. Surprisingly, it fired pretty well. 43 kills and 1 death.

Was actually very easy to use.

IMO Barrett = Fail, Very inaccurate and a dead give away

Take the M40 or the Dragunov.

Yea... the noise difference doesn't really matter.

Thats why I use the silenced M14, its the closest thing to being a silenced sniper rifle. :nod:
