  • G36C, a heartbreaker

Allright, so after careful testing, in hopes that my secret fears would be crushed, I have finally arrived at a conclusion that theres absolutely no reason whatsoever, to pick the G36C over M4A1. Im strongly biased for G36 series weapons and somewhat against the M16 series.

The only areas the G36C excels over M4A1 are

    Reload speed
    Sway

The areas they are the same

    Damage
    Range

The areas M4A1 excels over G36C

    Rate of fire
Accuracy at long range with sights
Long range grouping with automatic fire (especially with ACOG sights)

    ...

    sh!t...

I've said it since I first tried the G36E, I hate the damned thing.

i find the G36 more accurate at range then the M4 down to the reduced sway

loads easier for the lovely boom headshots

the g36 has almost no sway compared to the m4, so getting tight groups at long distance is MUCH easier. also with its accuracy even just two or three shots can drop an enemy whereas the m4 it can be harder to acquire targets with all the sway it has.

personally i find the sway of hte m4 makes the g36 much more effective than it.

Iron sights sway for M4A1 on my 1280X800 screen- 4.5mm
          Iron sights sway for G36C - 2mm

The grouping of shots at 1000 units (probably inches) is much, much closer for the M4A1, regardless of the sway. Considering what Ive checked, M4A1 is literally a rail cannon compared to G36C at range, in automatic fire.

            <-- Agree's with Chris.

The only time I like the G36C is at long range with the ACOG. In every other scenario, I'd rather have the M4. Provided those were my only two choices, I actually prefer the M16 in most games.

I find that every uses the M4. Maybe becuase their American, and want a American gun..IDK.. Or they just like it. But, I can't stand it. Everyone just spams them in a server, I don't like the ACOG with it nor the Red Dot. Iron sights arnt bad, but I hate the silencer on it. Makes it sound like my Airsoft gun. I like the GL on it, because it reminds me of the Army.

G36c, is a great gun. Just gotta work it and not judge it by its bullets.

Remember, all guns are great, just the player behind the gun makes the difference.

Way too erradic to control, otherwise a nice combo indeed.

Ive used nothing but G36C and shotguns up to this point, where Im changing to AK74U and MP5. And going back to M4A1. I wanted to kill my doubts by doing some testing and well, the results were disappointing to say the least.

Its true, its the player, and not the tool, but the tools give you the edge if things are at status quo.

I changed my super stealth class from an M4 to a G36C when I unlocked it the G36, I guess I might change it back now.

I hate to say I told you so over on TBF2.

I just use the M4 with Doubletap and voila...
