Steady Aim is a pointless perk for MP5/P90: I strongly suggest Dead Silence or Deep Penetration instead...

Steady Aim is the perk that gives you all the random headshots, its awesome and i use it for most of my weapons.

We've all heard people complain about how lame a perk is or how dominant a particular weapon can be. My idea is to not use anything which gives one a perceived advantage.

I try not to use those in all but a fully-populated server or once the heat has been turned up and I have to defend myself. That includes APMs, 3x Nades, and the P90, as well as others.

Here's my Generic Kit:

• M16 w/reflex
• USP
• Bandolier
• Stopping Power
• Steady Aim

So basically you say that you don't want to use "lame" or "OP" weapons and perks.

Why make it harder for yourself, no one else cares.

When I'm struggling to keep a server populated, I care. That was the point of my post. If I'm there waiting with a P90, 3 Frags and Martyrdom, I'll be waiting for a long time. I know this, because I've been waiting, and waiting...

It's not exactly underpowered though, but neither was the Baur.

But the Baur took skill to use, it was the first gun that i truly masterd in any FPS game.

But it's kind of a testament to the excellent balance in this game, that no weapon stands out as king.

Eliminator, it sounds like the MP44 is the way to go. In skilled hands it is an awesome weapon. I've seen CoD1-2 players use this in CoD4 with great relish as they put down enemies...

You'll need to use some perks to bring the weapon up to snuff to compete against modern ARs.
