We've all heard people complain about how lame a perk is or how dominant a particular weapon can be. My idea is to not use anything which gives one a perceived advantage.

I try not to use those in all but a fully-populated server or once the heat has been turned up and I have to defend myself. That includes APMs, 3x Nades, and the P90, as well as others.

Here's my Generic Kit:

• Bandolier
• Stopping Power
• Steady Aim

Steady Aim.

I use it for mid type stuff. For closer range, substitute the MP5 for the M4, and for long, substitute in the M16.

Visibility with red dot is great, damage is moderate but doubletap makes up for it, and dead silence allows me to move around rapidly without screaming "HEY, I'M RIGHT HERE!"

I've had a lot of success with this combination. It's excellent for a variety of scenarios, hence why it's my all-purpose kit. The rest are specialized...

I just put an ACOG on my M16 and I'm going to give it a go today...

I only used the reflex sight up until a few days ago but I reasoned that with the ACOG I could really make the long range shots count, and for close range shots I just let Steady Aim take care of it.

That's the theory anyway and we all know how everything works well in theory
