i say yes, i see too often there are plenty of people around and don't shoot the chopper thinking someone else will do it. i think if we are rewarded with points for shooting it down, more people will help out at it. right now the only reward is that one time challenge and that's not enough. i say give us 50 pts. or something.
should there be a reward for shooting down the chopper?

agreed.you should really get points for shooting down helis, that way, one doesnt kill you 3 times in a row. -

IMO a +30 points for getting the majority of the health down and a +5 for an assist thats over 5%, meaning you cant shoot a single bullet and expect an assist.
i also think a health indicator bar would be good.Comment

Well, IW already made a challenge for shooting a chopper down, right? Why not extend that challenge, instead of a one-time completion, make it multi-staged, like the headshots challenges, for example.
Or, just make it that it gives you points...or something of the like.Comment

I was shocked to see this not in the game, i remember the first time i got on the SMG and realizing i could sit there with celotape over the button and then give the mouse to my cat.Comment

I'm going to say no. It's not really that hard to shoot it down, and if everyone started shooting at it as soon as it appeared it wouldn't be very useful at all. Choppers usually only get 2 or 3 kills anyway. Maybe it would be good if you only got 10 or 20 points for shooting it down, but no more than that.Comment

I think you should get 5 points for every 20% of the heli's life you take down. That way people will have an incentive to do it, but not a huge on so people pack RPGs on all classes!Comment
