Your mouse scroll up and down configs

ok so this is how i'm sticking to as far as attack goes:

single shot or semi-auto weapons - use mouse scroll down to fire
automatic - use the left mouse button to fire.

it's perfect like that.

It's going to take some time for me to get used to scroll wheel firing. I configured it the other day and went like 4-8 right off the bat with a G3.

lol, me and my bro were having a knife-off seeing how many knife kills we could get so we bounded melee to scroll down and left mouse and we left attack and grenades unbounded so we couldent cheat. it was great fun

i use

mouse scroll up: change weapon
mouse scroll down: melee attack

The trick is to get a config to bind 3 keys to a action
Scroll up = attack
Scroll down = attack
left mouse = attack

You pistole and maybe the m14 will be you best friend you can take 3 v 1s. It takes practice to get used to but you will pwn!

again, how is that done? the in-game option only allows for 2 buttons to be binded for attack. is it done by editing a file or something?

I messed a bit with the config file, and it seems to work if you have these lines:

bind MOUSE1 "+attack"
bind MWHEELDOWN "+attack"
bind MWHEELUP "+attack"

You don't need a config file. All you need to enter is what Vreki showed in code in the console.

I got
Mouse 1(left) = fire
Mouse 2(right) = Aim down sight
Mouse Wheel click = nade
Mouse wheel up/down = change weapon
Mouse 4 = Melee
Mouse 5 = empty

In my mouse i have triple fire button so i don't need to bind fire to mouse wheel... Besides shooting from mouse wheel eats your clips through really fast...
