Yea.....I use my mouse scroll wheel for melee Attack too...

They really need to make a mouse w/ about 4 buttons on LeftSide, (2 above and 2 below) and probably one or two on top.

      mouse-scroller *click* melee
      mouse-scroll down - fire...makes those semi-autos shoot like autos...the G3 with this setup owns.

interesting, i gotta try the scroll for firing... i was thinking of mapping the fire button to a keyboard key so it doesn't shake the mouse when i snipe, but i'll try the scroll first.

It takes a lil getting used to. My left mouse button is also fire, which i use for autos. Just play around to what works for you. But it will take some getting used to.

@Chefmoto1 - I didn't leave my nade on the mouse. I changed it to the left ctrl button, which actually works better. Then I don't accidentally switch weapons in the middle of a knife fight.

I tried the scroll wheel bind for firing and it was working well for me. The real secret is to bind it to up and down so you flick up-n-down real fast and it is like firing an automatic.

HOWEVER, and it is a big however for me, that took away my ability to call in Air Strikes... (argh!)

But, Spik3d shows how it can still be done by binding Mouse1 and ScrollUp and ScrollDown to Attack. You can still use Mouse1 for Air Strikes.

                I'm currently using this config:
                Mouse1(left): Attack
                Mouse2(right): Melee
                Mouse3(middle) Reload
                ScrollUp: Aim Down Sight
                ScrollDown: Attack
                Mouse4(side): Switch Weapons

i also tried to use the scroll wheel for auto firing but it took longer then if i just clicked really fast, not sure if its because i can click really fast or because my scroll wheel hates this game. besides you dont need to click more then 4 times with a semi

                  im using

                  left mouse button = fire
                  right mouse button = sights
                  scroll up = mele
                  scroll click = nades

                    Scroll Up - Change wep

Scroll Down - fire (for the deagle mostly)

                    Scroll click - Teamspeak (lol)

                    Side button one - Melee

                    Side button two - Airstrikes

Obviously left click for shoot and right click for aim

wait, how do you call in airstrikes when you got attack binded to scroll up and down? it only lets you bind attack to 2 buttons, not 3 like spik3d mentions. it won't let me pinpoint on the map where to airstrike...

i am now playing with left mouse button and scroll down to attack and i am really lovin' this. i am now primarily using scroll down to fire, but for the sake of calling in airstrikes, i have to have mouse 1 binded to attack too. anyways, this is scroll fire thing is really awesome, thanks for the advice guys.
