Insufficient O/S priveleges

Try going to the games directory, in BF2 it would be '%ProgramFiles%\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2', right click on BF2.exe, goto properties and look for compatibility.

All i can really think is that your clicking the wrong places or something. In windows 2000 I think the compatibility options were disabled until you enabled them but im sure this isn't the case in Vista.

Yes lol that was the place to look it showed up when i went to the directory like you said.

One more question do i have to do this every time like go into that directory and select that icon?

If you apply the settings through the compatibility tab then no you shouldn't have to reapply the settings.
