Man, all I have to say after this week is... Skorp = pwnage.

I'm having a blast with the Skorpion. The fun thing about that gun is that it has the lowest range of all the SMGs (maybe all the guns, not sure) but you can practically snipe with it. Yes, snipe. In full auto too, that gun has amazing accuracy and almost ZERO recoil. The problem with it is fighting more people at a time so I suggest people getting it on maps where there isn't much chance of someone jumping out on you immediately after you killed one guy.

I personally find the sights to be really good, simple and don't get in the way (yes I'm looking at you G36C). So I'm using a silencer myself with it :)

More of a reason for it is that you can't afford to attract attention to yourself if you're behind enemy lines with a whopping 20 bullet capacity (I use it as one of my stealth kits, although I can see it with Sleight of Hand instead of UAV jammer).

that's why the skorpion with ACOG scope is crazy. you can full-auto snipe and it's accurate as hell.

Yea i agree, although the M14 can drop a guy faster, i just cant rely on it over medium range because the recoil takes over and my shots go wide, if you master this recoil then yea its a good weapon, but i just wouldnt choose it over the G3.

I also find the reflex sight to be better than the ACOG on the G3, just my personal preference.

This is why I think the M14 is the Baur of CoD4. The recoil has to be mastered to make it a marksman's rifle and the G3 is a little more forgiving.

I'm currently running my toon with a silenced M14 (yes, I like the iron sights because that's the way they look on an M14!), Bandolier, Juggernaut and Extreme Conditioning.

The 'weirdness' with the iron sights is because the rear aiming aperture is much too much in focus. It should be somewhat fuzzy because it would be close to the eye and you'd be focused on your target. Instead, it is slightly obtrusive... I have to admit that.

Yea i am starting to go off the G3, i think i had a few good rounds with it and got carried away.

Atm the Baur for me is still my Silenced M14 for its shear power, or my AK with the Acog.

The G3 is good, but its not fun.

Equipping the reflex on the Ak47 has the same effect as using a silencer, it reduces minimum damage to 20 (it should not do this, the min. damage should remain at 30 if you equip the reflex)

Yea i hope they fix this as im finding going back to my ACOG that the recoil on it is starting to be too much and so a RDS would be preferable.
