Why, i mean the point is to identify friend or foe right? well if your ping or the server is a little whacky then you can hit your spotter all day long & it wont tell you "enemy" and you think your safe then boom. i mean take all the helps away & you allmost have to be ontop of somebody or atleast in zoom range to see if friendly or not.
Alex6714 If its that bad, when in doubt don“t fire. In any case, you can still bring up the map with "m" or "caps lock" to double check.
Yeah i will, but my point was that i get lazy sometimes & dont look at the mini & see what it got me this moring(2tk's) but some wont pull up the map with "m" or caps to even see, they just fire, i mean i donno im gonna play & get used to it, just seems they can make it a little 2 hard.:salute:

ya know sometimes there jujst a little 2 far away to know if its friend or foe by sight, but visiable enough to kill......

With the LGBs, can pilots still spot targets (I.E. tanks, buildings) and then bomb them un-guidedly?

Also, get us F-15E's in Kashan. Give the pilot control of bombs, missiles, and gun; the co-pilot designates the target for him and has to keep his laser constantly on target. That's how they do it IRL

You can still identify targets by LOOKING at them like you do irl. I dont really see the problem with no minimap. You still have your "M" map and you still have your minimap while in tanks/jets etc.

Why do you need to use minimap to see whos who? Even at 600 meters you can see the difference between soldiers.

You can still see the difference. Or if your unsure check your "M" map. Think before shooting

Nope you cannot allways see, sometimes fog, and sometimes a little further than 600M you can still see the soldier but not sure.
the ping isnt good you can hit the "spotted" and it wont identify as enemy, and if you do take time to pull up your mapp you couuld die, but most wont take that 3 seconds they will shoot & TK, like i did this moring except i was sure (in my own little world anyway) that it had to be a enemy so no need to check my mini, i was wrong:nod:

Yeah i was saying some talkin about the need to take that away, but keep it or not what did takin the mini mapp away do? except make peep take an extra couple seconds to pull out the big mapp, just kinda silly i think.

            .

so instead checking ur mini check ur map, is there are 600m chances are they wont show on ur minimap so u will have to check ur map anyways.

why don't the just add name tags back in if ur having trouble

LOL, i just like to be sure before i shoot, i like to shoot long distances, with sniper or without, i shoot grey targets if i can figure there not friendly.
so to me it is important, im not talkin close combat, i like to shoot targets you have to turn just to make sure its not a lump of grass then turn back to fire on it, way out there.

like i said i will play & get used to it, just seems it will increase tk's or decrease action.

I mean think about it, take the mini away, and only have a static mapp for "m" i mean it just seems nuts.

I thought thats what we were talkin about, some were saying that the "m' mapp "the big one" should only be a static mapp (terrain, markers etc) show no troops......:|:

i just thought it silly to take away the mini, when all you gotta do is hit the "m" & see exact same thing.

It makes sense. Even if we had a system that tracked all troops, you would still have to look at the map itself, unless you had a helmet display, which the armies in PR don't.

I use it mainly for driving, and a quick glance to make sure there's no blue or green dots in my line of fire.........duh.....

You will still have your minimap when in vehicles and you can just use your M map or your eyes to make sure that you wont hit friendlies

na, due to the G3 having alot more recoil and the m16 having less so in single shot you dont have to recorrect your aim as much, it evans out. maybe in CQB as the G3 has full auto, but m16 is still good.
