ive been on that AIDS clan server and most of their members dont hack or do anything listed there though they usually suck
Beware of this clan!

OP you probably had a bad run of luck. You could have had a few bad hit detection shots, fired some when the server thought the shields were up although they looked down to you, hit in the most heavily armoured spots. A combination of the above may give the impression that the walker is taking much more damage than it should.
I feel your pain - how many times have you shot a gunship with your tank main gun and seen the shell strike only for the ship to fly off like nothing has happened. Like WTF, just lag is allComment

i've seen health hacks. they couldn't die. even a knife they just survived. they had 0 death and just shot trough wall( a team mate confirmed me he was shooting against a wall). they survived a whole clip of my baur point blank range. even a knife(i heard it was a registered one it makes another sound). and they could't die. so it is possible. it is possible they just real time hacked so they were modding the information in the memory of the server. then nothing can stop it. and if you say EA made it. do you ever think it would ever be bugfree?Comment

Less skill more suspect programming
The non lethal knife bug is as old as the game. Strike and get the sound but still no kill. Again I would put it down to a lag issue as the sound is played but the server decides that it wasn't a hit. I don't know exactly how it works.
Maybe someone could explain. If you swipe someone with a knife and hear the sound - does the client register the hit itself and play the sound only to be overidden by the server that calls no hit. Same with the gunship thing, your tank shell hits and there is a flash but the ship flies on.Comment

Its all due to lag... High Pings on either end or simply the server needing a restart can cause it. Hit detection goes out the window when lag comes into play... Its juts a disadvantage of the internet. Your client sees a guy straight ahead, and you fire but for some reason he doesn't die. Why? The server (which is the only true "player" who plays in Real Time) already registered your target as having moved out of the way. The other person's client more than likely doesn't have you hitting him, it probably sees you hitting the wall were he used to be.
Take some basic internet gaming classes, it will make sense. You simply CANNOT hack server side files without everyone who connects to the server having edited files as well. Do you know what out of sync is? Its when the coding or an event on a client doesn't match the coding/event on a server. Neither the client nor the server know how to handle it, and it normally results in a game crash.Comment

Your so wrong, it's funny. it is nigh impossible to edit data entering the server RAM.... you'd have to install some kind of software on the server itself, which requires some major, major hacking.i've seen health hacks. they couldn't die. even a knife they just survived. they had 0 death and just shot trough wall( a team mate confirmed me he was shooting against a wall). they survived a whole clip of my baur point blank range. even a knife(i heard it was a registered one it makes another sound). and they could't die. so it is possible. it is possible they just real time hacked so they were modding the information in the memory of the server. then nothing can stop it. and if you say EA made it. do you ever think it would ever be bugfree?
Just accept, it's the hitbox bug or lag.Comment

i first thought it till i heard that guy was shooting at the wall there was a whole building between me and him.(i was capping the ruins and he was "outside") and there could be some major hackers to. i do accept the most things are impossible but if you can change things in the ram(ive done it myself, not with a game but with a program i was testing its possible and that isn't detectable). i know about the server sees you at an other place you are at your client. and i know about crappy hit detection.(even had somethimes a kill message that disappeared mostly with a knife).
oftopic does anyone knows if the scaleo P series have ddr2 ran. cuz i in my booklet it says it has but we have 2 gigs ddr2 ram wich doesn't fit.Comment
-
Doesn't fit? Physically? Then it's a different module type (SODIMM/DIMM/etc.). "DDR2" doesn't really tell what kind of hardware you can put it in, it only tells about how the memory works technically. edit: oopsy. i misread. you weren't talking about a notebook, but a real instructions booklet :P.
On topic. I Don't believe half of the accuastions made in the OP either. I'll save the explanations for later.
If they really are hacking away all the time, then just save us all some trouble and record a round with FRAPS and put it out for all to see. Simple as heck. Then we'll have no option but to believe.Comment

I've seen health glitches when people couldn't die (literally magazines pumped into them did nothing, but I suspect they were glitches, nothing more, and that was a good 10 months or so ago. If they were hacks, I reckon I'd see a lot more of them.
Shooting through walls can simply be explained by either wall glitching (when you're INSIDE the wall) or for the umpteenth time, lag - if you go to tweakguides.com, by editing your usersettings.con you can adjust your interpolation timings in order to fix your hit detection, so when a player may feel they are escaping "around a corner", on your screen you're hitting their legs and killing them it looks dodgy to them, but if the killer was running fraps you'd SEE the difference.
As eze said and as I will reiterate based on EXPERIENCE - too many players are being sucker punched by overzealous admins who cannot accept being beaten by a player with skill - even when the stats OBVIOUSLY point to it. I was banned from a server where the admin who banned me hadn't had as much GLOBAL time as I had spent on camp gib alone, yet felt justified in banning me because I was on 50-3 and apparently "shot people through walls". Wrong, his team were simply poor and I was on a roll. The ironic thing was the last time I killed him, I missed with most of a mag and had to pistol him - part of his accusation was that I was "spinning around headshotting 5 or 6 people at a time". I spoke to him afterwards and he was reasonable about it though and has since unbanned me.
To the OP - I'd just get over it tbh - everyone, including the best players in the game suffer lag and dodgy moments where they should've killed someone that they didn't. It's all part and parcel of a buggy game. All of your allegations can be explained easily and judging by the route this thread is going, have been explained.Comment

I am an Admin of my clan's four servers, and we allow Jihading with any vehicle. I don't consider it a cheap tactic on a Titan server, it is a proper use of the resources youre team is given. The FAV isn't much of a transportation help, because there are so many of them + Transports. I've seen Jihad Gunships, and I admit that they are HILARIOUS!Originally posted by NoobHunterNext lot to avoid:

Jihading on Conquest is another matter, on some maps I think its OK on others its a stupid waste of a FAV that could have been used to back cap the enemy. At any rate, I allow it. If the server rules say you can do something, then go ahead and do it (as long as it doesn't allow stat padding or hacking). If the server rules say don't do something, then don't do it! Its as simple as that.Comment
