There arent any problems in this game really, the only problem i'm having is that theyre join game system, displays the wrong ping, which pisses me off, and sometimes I cant see the servers my friends are seeing.

I would say use xfire's server browser until the next patch. That's what I've been doing since 1.4

No problems at all here. No one from my group (about 15 people) having trouble either.

As I said in another thread, those of you having trouble with 1.4 need to compare your systems, and try to identify what's common (Vista, e-versions, routers, firewalls, etc). If you can find a possible cause, then IW can get to fixing it, but they need that information. There really aren't that many people posting about having trouble - most are fine.

1) Find the folder on your PC where you installed PB
2) run the pbsetup.exe application, click the "Check for Updates" button.

Im getting the same problems as sniper ghost.

i defragged, updated PB and restarted and it works great now. thanks for everyones help and suggestions

I noticed the ping problem too. Browser seems to refresh a lot faster, but it doesn't do any good when the pings are wrong.

1.4 Has made the game much better in my opinion, it used to either not connect to servers, or take a good 10+ tries. Now its instant every single time.

The game has never been better after the new patch, no more connection time out at all and the game runs as smooth as a smoothie. Maybe the error lies within your cabinet.

I dont have Cod4, but my friend with Cod4 pre 1.4 was getting 80fps max. now hes getting 120fps. so for him the patch has really increased performance. but he says there are gameplay tweaks that make it more fun aswell.

Since there's no difference between 80 and 120 fps, I'd say that really isn't a performance increase.

Supposedly higher FPS increases jump, sprint time and stuff slightly.
