Does anyone know exactly what it changed in terms of the server browser? It appears to be the same old thing...I refreshed it several times and got many different numbers.

Nothing on steam yet. This is the only game I have on steam, anyone know how much does it come late after the "normal version" updates? Or does it vary from dev to dev?

Steam will update almost as soon as it's out. If you have the auto-update selected, you won't even really see it. I didn't even know that the 1.3 patch was out because it installed it and I never saw it.

Found this on another forum...you could try it if you're feeling lucky (but I'd back up your Profile folder first ):
Someone posted this on the Steam forums and someone else said that it worked for them too. I haven't tried it myself yet, but I just thought some people out there might like to know:

right click on "Digital Distribution" and rename it to whatever else.

apply the patch from infinity ward website

then you can rename it back to digital distribution

The v1.3 patch came out about 24 hrs or so later on XFire.

Hey Steam folks, Valve's put out the update. You have to restart Steam (as long as your game is set to auto-update). It only took a min or so to download the update!

Your XFire should be downloading, or available to download the v1.4 patch now. I just cancelled mine (since I already had it).
