Snipers are way to powerful right now. I joined 3 servers in a row and I'd move through a space | | big and I'd be dead. They need to be limited or nerfed. It is ridiculous. 3 servers in a row and it was just snipers.

Calm down, it's a game. Try counter-sniping or avoiding known lanes that snipers frequently shoot down.

Or you could just play shipment all day long, snipers don't live very long on that map.

If you play hardcore, the G3 and the M14 are the best counter-sniper weapons. Maybe give those a try?

To be honest i don't find snipers much of a problem, most of my deaths are due to me using the G3 so much and coming face to face with a P-90 wielder!

sounds like you are joining the wrong servers... try a clans server thats more defined and controlled.

None of the classes are a problem in my honest opinion. If I join a server that has max players and every player is a sniper, and I'm the online assault, that makes me happy. In every map, there is only a few good spots to hide, and still its going to be tricky staying in that spot if the server has the kill cam enabled.

CoD is very fast paced, especially with a lot of players on the server. Its all about how fast you can react. Use your perks to overcome snipers as well. There's nothing more satisfying than killing a sniper with an RPG, with them watching the RPG coming straight at them through the scope. :yay: Or putting a claymore next to one of the hiding spots.

Snipers are fine as they are. I've tried it. Its too hard. So I avoid going as a sniper. Although sometimes I go as one just to get the cammo.

I also usually pick up a dropped gun. :)

Most players aren't afraid of guys in ghillie suits coz they assume he's got a long semi-auto or bolt action rifle. :P

Snipers only bug me now because anyone can use them, i dont know about you guys, but prepatch i sniped ALOT and was very successful when sniping, i would usually never get killed by a fellow sniper in any game i decided to snipe.

But now, after this patch it feels so noob friendly, i know thats not a bad thing but i just feel, all the patience and skill required has been taken away from the rifles, there is no need to hold your breath anymore unless you want a really dead on accurate shot which the sway can be manipulated to get anyway.

Snipers have lost their prestige in this game imo.

its true and thats why i use the M40A3 because its bolt action and it aint semi auto so not evey one can use it with skill, cause the only sniper rifles used now are the 50 and the rest of the semi autos

Im working my way up for the gold drag, atm im on the M21 and i hate the feeling of the semi auto rifles.

yeah IW messed up agian.. sniper's should not have ACOG.. that is what messes everything up the most you don't even have to hold your breath and there is much less recoil with the ACOG.. who every was in charge of that at IW, is a jackass...
