Yes the most of the guns are point and click in this game, but i sure feel a little more credit for the guy if he has killed me with a G3 at range, or an MP5 at range and had to aim, rather than have some idiot stare down a scope, point and click, hitting your foot and your dead.

When it comes to the .50cal, i admit it would be realistic for that to kill you and blow off limbs, but it comes down to balance.

Shipment + 3-4 people + Knife only = can be enough havoc as it is, combine it with 32+people with shipment, knife only and a few admins to enforce the rules = more than havoc...

or we could just use explosives? RPG for CQC and Claymores for camping, and hey use C4 for ambushes...

Seriously though, bullets aside, I really really really think the sniper bug was not affected by everyone. What we are seeing now is how it was suppose to be. Same thing with the ACOG scope. On that my ^ would move and not the crosshairs. Now they all move.

I really think the sniper thing was a selective bug and did not affect everyone.

Also, I havent really noticed any 1337 snipers and not being able to play the game because of it. Of course, I love da smoke

I think people need to learn to adjust to the game. Granted, if IW actually listens to posts, go ahead, voice that you would maybe like a change, but it gets really annoying when people whine about weapons. CONSTANTLY, people whine about the "noob tube" in game. I'll use the M16 and tube all I want, and I own people with it, but you know what? I only get killed maybe twice in a round from the noob tube b/c I use cover appropriately and a tube launch will just hit the wall in front of me. Also, I'll use the dragunov in a close combat area. Semi-auto sniper, yep, but it beats dying lol. I hardly ever get sniped either, but once again, I use cover.

No where does it say that you have to 'play' as that class would 'fight' in REAL life. Go and fight in the army if you would like perfect fps, people fighting as the class they are, and oh yeah, no respawn! :P

Also, things maybe getting tougher b/c more people are playing the game and getting better at it.

I love the new patch, gives me more snipers to shoot with my counter-sniper rifle; the M14 equiped with my pride and joy, the ACOG.


Hehe Elimanator, I love the BAUR, BTW it stands for Brad's automatic ub3r rifle.

So much better then any other assault rifle in there, 3 shot kill to the lower chest, and 2 to upper, ahhh, I love that game.

Yup, spot on. There are loads of threads almost an exact duplicate of this one, the same conclusion (as in your post) is reached in every single one of them, however people still create these threads. Why?

I think the snipers are pretty much near perfect. Sniping should be a 1 shot kill the majority of the time.. i think its pretty well rounded to be fair - countersniping is rather easy.

lol i started a thread on some website about snipers being too powerfull. i got flamed. it's just like cod2 one shot one kill.
