More or less... i agree with the M16... that thing is very accurate...
Today i've tested the "silent G3" config... not bad... not bad at all

Double tap fires two bullets instead of one on every gun, including the G3 and the M14, just watch your bullet indicator, pull the trigger once, two bullets come out.

That's interesting stuff right there. A burst-firing G3 would be hot. Trying that out in a couple hours.

Wreckless? Oh, I beg to differ. The M16 kills with one burst to to the torso (Not to mention the head lol) with stopping power. The G3 with stopping power still takes two shots to the torso, or head. The G3's single shot comes out faster than the M16's burst, yes. But if your aim is refined, the M16 achieves one burst, one kill. The M16 is the professional's choice.

The G3 can get that second round down quicker than you can get that second burst down. And with each shot from the M16, you get recoil, so you'd have to sight your target again, while the G3 doesn't have to.

You said the M16 is a reckless weapon. I said no, because it actually requires more precision than the G3, which I alluded to by saying it's one burst for one kill, and the bursts come out slower than the G3's single fire. There's less of a "grace" to miss with the M16 because of this -- precision required.

The G3 gets its second shot down fast than an M16 can get its second burst down, this is true. The issue is, the M16 doesn't need a second burst. It needs one burst to kill. Count'em, one. Not two, not three. One. The G3, stopping power included, takes a minimum of two shots to either the torso or head, and if you hit a shoulder, arm or leg, oh well. The M16 can hit an arm/leg shot and two torso shots in a single burst and still score a kill in one click.

So I was trying out the G3 again in detail. I had two identical classes setup:

G3 w/ Silencer
Bandoleer
Double Tap/Stopping Power
Steady Aim

With Double Tap, each single pull of the trigger was only one shot. Using the mouse scroll wheel to rapid fire requires a finesse touch it seems as once I got dialed in, I was yielding consistent ROF's with and without Double Tap.

I switched out to my pistol to get a second opinion and found the same thing. The game still does seem to have a hard coded ROF cap, as scrolling my mouse wheel beyond a certain speed didn't reap any higher ROF. It slowed me down actually, as I had to pause briefly to start rolling my finger back the other way.

So I'd like to reverse my early statement and recommend against taking Double Tap with the G3. I'd probably have found this sooner if I used the weapon more often. I don't even have the 150 kills for the ACOG yet as I only really use it in HC.

Yup i can confirm it to,double tap does nothing for your single fire weapons,tried it earlier today on the g3.

i find the g3 with acog worse than the red dot,the zoom offered by the acog is minimal and narrows your pov.

how much more round's does it take to kill someone when you don't use stopping power for the head and chest?

I really would like to now how much more round's it take's to kill with out stopping power.. and now much it take with stopping power with all gun's if you shoot in the chest.. seem's like 3 round's but on some it take's 4.. I would think it should be 2 with stopping power.. anyone know fo sho?
