Where do you put your fingers on the keyboard?

Just to stay on topic, on my part, I don't use my pinky for pressing ctrl, its general my palm, the joint between palm and pinky to press ctrl.

Reckon something like that actually makes your more efficient? Don't worry, i'm not contemplating getting one, just wondered.

i use my third hand...

i think the same should apply for most. i introduced some people who have never played a FPS game before on PC and tell them its ASWD and they use the right fingers

If you say so, because I don't see an L or Y on that keyboard (the circle bit), the main keyboard.. duh.. should have it..

On the left hand:

From right to left.

Little finger = Shift/Control
Ring finger = A
Middle finger = W
Index = D
Thumb = Space bar

I use pink on CTRL only if i want to run i double tap "W"

This will be the most common for FPS gamers.

Pinky - Shift (or Control, my pinky usually rests on shift.)
Ring - A
Middle - W
Index - D
Thumb - Space

yeah, that's mine. except I never use the ctrl key. my controls for side things in bf2 are really weird. my parachute key is Q, my commo rose is CAPS, to drop bombs in the jet I press F, i prone with C and crouch with ALT. sometimes i'll be crouching and then i'll want to check the score so I'll press tab and the game will minimize

while I was looking at my fingers on the keyboard, I noticed the W and A are starting to wear away!!!! :cry:

I have heard of people who have to completely re-map their keys because if they stretch their pinky too far it dislocates.

"yea, sorry, my finger dislocated and i couldn't control it..."
