I say "nay". It defeats the whole purpose of "Modern Warfare".

Yeah, like what if they added in a 71 round drum PPSh in the game:laugh:

I was surfing /k/-weapons last week and saw a picture of a US Marine in Iraq using a PPSH. So, I don't think It'd be that bad of an idea.

          Note:

I have an Enfield No. 4 Mk.1; they wouldn't hold a stick to an AK-47

Add the kar98 while you're at it.

No, limiting weapons defeats the purpose of modern warfare. I'm not saying, add every weapon that was made in.

Like somebody said earlier, getting a springfield or thompson really wouldent be that difficult. Easier than a G3 or G36 at least. Modern incorporates all weapons, just because they were made a long time ago doesn't mean they cant be used. If anything they would be more plentiful, and thus you would encounter them more frequently. Especially if you were to be fighting a militia with almost no money to spend on weaponry.

Don't people still use Mosin Nagants? Would probably be more common than the other WWII guns.

The .50 Browning is essentially the same machine gun as used in WW2 and it's still going strong!
Although clearly there is no place for it in COD4!
