Details: We're kicking off a double XP weekend exclusively on the PS3 starting on Friday and lasting till Monday morning. Play at anytime starting at 10 am (PST) through Monday at 10 am (PST) and you'll earn double the XP in every game type. Rank up higher, unlock more all weekend long!

This is a special limited time deal, so get in there and rank up while the double XP lasts, as come Monday morning it's back to normal XP. See you online!

You all should know what this means.. There will be more ranks and weapons and unlocks. There just setting it up and getting it ready. Games like WarRock did this, MapleStory.

I knew it from day 1, that getting to lvl 55 in 3 days was too fast. :)

I like what someone said about the ranks being your "training". I say put new weapons perks and attachments in, just having them earned by challenges instead of adding new ranks. That way mods will have a chance and people will play the game to help their team win instead of ranking up, like someone else said.

dude what are you talking about there is not one hint that there will be more rank's. they are saying that you will get 2x the XP, nothing to do with higher ranks.

That could be the case, But I think will see Weapons / w/e here soon for the PC.. They wouldn't just have PS3 have something, and not 360 or PC. IW is beter than that.

It is already TOO easy to get to lvl 55.. They wouldn't do this for the fun of it. They know its not hard to get to lvl 55. There planning something, and I bet you it's a Christmas surprise..

It's easy to level to 55 because IW didn't wanna make this a game like bf2 where some people have played 600+ hours and still haven't got all ranks and/or weapons. IW just implemented the rank system as a gradual introduction to the game, get to top rank, congratulations, now you've finished the 'tutorial' and can play with all weapons and perks.

Double XP is for all the people in prestige, PC doesn't have it but X360 and PS3 do, so lots of people are trying to get to top prestige and this will help.

There is absolutely no suggestion or insinuation of new weapons and/or levels in your post. You're just making wild conclusions based on NOTHING and ofcourse there will be some people who read this and believe it and so you're creating an unecessary hype for something that doesn't even exist.

My question is is this just rumor or will it be officially confirmed ?Specially in regards to pc that is since i dont care for xbox or ps3.

I hope they don't make more ranks, although i don't think they will seeing as they already have 5 star general. More weapons would be cool, but i doubt it this close to release.
