    They might be similar in real life and by looks, but ingame they're nothing alike. The M16 fires in bursts, is much more accurate and has more power. But because of the burst it's a bad choice for close range, cause if you don't land the first burst in your opponent you're pretty much screwed.

        M16's are meant to burst fire, so... it loses out anyways.
