You are correct. I think it has a rather brief cameo in Desperado, I seem to remember Carolina looks at El Mariachi's arsenal of weapons inside his guitar case and spots the crotch gun. She says something like "I don't even want to know what that is" and I believe he replies something like "It's saved my life more than once."

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Go play Halo if you want dual wielding.

IW didn't put all that time into realism just so that people can't go around with dual wielding, one of the most un-realistic things in FPS games.

Besides, unless you can fire them separately (requiring two fire buttons, awkward on PC) then you're just double the rate of fire of the gun, essentially doubling the power of the dual wielded gun. That'd have to take up Perk 2 most likely, and probably even something else, like no attachments on them. Doesn't really matter, though, since using your sights would be pointless, you have one in the middle being accurate, but then the other is off two the side, or both slightly off to the side, so only GL/Grip are useful, and no way in hell will there be two GLs and balance at the same time.

          Mainly, it's too damn impractical.

JUST because halo 2 and 3 have duel wildeing, doesn't mean that EVERY OTHER first person shooter should!
Also what's the point of having 2 weapons on you at the sametime? you know you can't throw nades with a weapon in your normally free hand.

i was thinking it would overtake perk 1 and 2 slots so this would not be a problem.

Just for reference i have never played Halo i just wanted to dual wield Uzi's like in San Andreas

Double tap just a ripoff of duel wielding, but more reloading.

Obviously it would become unbalanced if you could dual wield the P90's so only certain SMG's and pistols would be allowed to use the perk feature, i was thinking, MP5, Uzi, Scorpion, AK74u, all pistols other than the deagle.

                      What do you think?

Hell no this is NOT HALO! it would be useless to do the recoil would be crazy and you could not aim it would turn into noobs camping and waiting for ppl in close range area's and you could not been them.. plus the person dual weilding would have to take about 3X to recload cuz they would have to put down one of the gun's.. it would be really stupid.. bad idea..

It would have to be handgun-only, anybody who has ever shot a fairly large rifle (M16A2 in my case) could tell you that it would be extremely hard just to be able to hold them up at the same time, let alone shoot them both effectively enough to make up for the disadvantage you're creating for yourself by adding the extra weight and not being able to aim down the sights.

                          NO WAY.

I still think it would be feasible with a really long reload time, takes up 2 perk slots and have an increased accuracy penalty for having 2.

Guess i will wait for the mods.
