I've lost hundreds of points, a few medals and some good tags due to the stupid servers crashing.

I had a span of crysis happen for me in 2142, all of a sudden, every time I d/cd from a server, I would get cut from the master server, and my game would crash when I tried to log back in, pissed the **** outta me for a month and out of nowhere, its back to normal, now I can play on more than one server, and BF2 was just fine. Was there really a game with more issues than 2142 before? I heard something about American Assault gettin all of it's servers shut down.Comment

Tried playing a few rounds last night. After finally managing to connect my soldier via the master server, couldn't get through a round without intermittent ten second pauses and finally a total disconnect.
Same thing this morning - "THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION"
It really does seem like the developers are purposefully making the game unplayable. I suppose now it's been out a year the company are not making any more money from it so allowing it to die would save them some time & resources.Comment

i just got another distinguished eff and a generally good round, this time with a 3.81SPM and 2+ kdr. and guess what, it shuts down again.
i'm beginning to think some admin on the server i play does it on purpose to spite me =PComment
