It's a lot more realistic than many other things that needed urgent attention 2.5 years ago and still never got fixed. I guess it's too late now for any additional changes, the game is too old for any more patches. Anyway if you could live with the bunny hopping for example for so long, why does the GL bother you? What should be changed about the GL according to you?

im pretty sure u can still noobtoob wiht it. its slightly harder, but ive seen ppl running around doing that. i sometimes do it myself when im rushing a base.

Maybe the fact that you can hit a guy almost dead on and he still doesnt die? Or that you can still shoot it at your feet and kill that other guy but dont die yourself? The GL in Bf2 have what? 1 m kill range?? Or maybe the fact that you cant shoot it further than what... 150 meters? Or maybe the smoke trail? Coz the 30mm round doesnt leave a smoke trail IRL.. Shall i go on?

I'm not a fan of the GL but IMO the GL in BF2 is as realistic as it gets, in the terms of sights, damage and everything else. Answer: nothing needs to be changed about it.

I get your point, but dude if you want realism...you might not like it all.

For example, a chest shot right below the heart or along there would drop you.

The F35B would ****ing own anything in the sky, without even a fight, and would shoot the targets out of the sky once they take off the runway.

Grenade Launcher used to be "Assault Class" speciality. Most people ran Assault and when we take BF2 natural food chain into account, Assault should be your first class to choose.

Thanks to the whiner, well, good days of Assault are history.

Go play 2142, it's fine the way it is. Because of issues like this thats why 2142 made it where you have to choose your detination point for the GL's and Rockets.

Over half my shots with GL are from more than 150-200 feet, so yah, its just you =P
GL is fine as it is. Although im sure, even though I haven't read any of the posts besides the OP that theres a bunch of little whiners who say GL is overpowered. Surprisingly enough (not) if I checked their stats they'd have less than 5 kills with it.

GL is fine the way it is, prenerf it was the most popular tool for instant gratification due to its insta boom and high splash, usefull for taking out full squads. but now it takes just a little bit more skill to use, and isn't too effective for wiping a whole squad, but then there is the M16 or AK for cleanup. Dice claims they nerfed it to be used more for vehicles than for infantry, but i find it harder to hit a jeep than any troops now, it bounces off like a tennis ball unless your 50+ meters away, previously it was cake to hit a jeep/vod, often killing the driver and or passengers in the process without blowing the vehicle up. and at close range it still doesn't bounce against troops, you just can't jump with it, other than that i havent noticed it any worse off, just not the first selection for everyone on karkand. my best tube shot post nerf was from the alley flag on sharqi killing a clan member on the metal pillar at construction site that bridges the two buildings together, hitting troops above you at 250+ meters with nothing that can cause an ounce of splash is no easy feat. top 400 with the tube now, and only about 70 hours with it. compared to 600 hours assault rifles and only top 550
