Will I get any points for shooting down a chopper in MP or is it just stupid to waste your rifle ammo on it?

The other day in a game I was saying this.. it would be nice.. it seem's like Im alway's the only one shooting it down so maby if you got some point's for it other player's would do it so you don't need to deal with the damn thing.Comment

Yea i agree, 10 points or 5 points for taking it down, and also you need to correct the spelling on your original title thread name.Comment

Take cover better cover.
I never waste ammo on the chopper.Comment

Ive seen choppers change the outcome of a game. To not shoot at it means you are pinned down, or being killed.
I usually put a clip into it. Ive had some good games where everyone shot it it and it was down as quick as it came to the battlefield.

I never get pinned down by choopers they move around, and as they do, I move from cover to cover to get where I need to.Comment

Yes, I have noticed that if you don't shoot at them, they'll leave you alone unless you're out in the open.
Also, somebody answer this for me, please:
If nobody shoots down a helicopter, does it stay flying indefinitely? Or is there a set time amount in which it will fly?
Also, this other question is a bit off topic, but I don't want to start another thread:
(PC) What is the key to open the little commands (ie. "Fall back!", "Regroup on me!", etc.)? I bought a digital version of CoD4, so I don't have any instruction book. Also, is there somewhere where I can download a .pdf file of the manual or something similar?Comment

Thanks for both answers, Desert Fox. +1 Schrutebuck to you. I hit it on accident last night, I think I was trying to run away from being shot at and it came up. I thought to myself "Well, I couldn't bring this menu up again if I tried, so I'm not going to waste it." "Regroup on me, team."Comment
