XBOX Live, 2 players, one console???????????

OK, so don't flame me for asking but how the heck do we get two people on one console on XBOX Live? We've tried everything, and we can't get two active accounts to play at the same time. On COD1-3 it would split screen when we both joined, and on COD 4 we can't get it to go. What's up with this?

To actually answer this, you can't play splitscreen on Xbox Live in CoD4.

Wow this is DUMB! We could on COD 1, 2, and 3. Why on earth would they take this out?

Uhhhhh... you could only do spiltscreen on live in COD3 anyway. The only bad thing was... it was a bad game.

But you can't do it in COD4 unfortunately.

It worked on COD1, just checked it. Had COD3, but wasn't happy with that game at all! This is a major bummer.
