Hey come on. Everyone has a war story behind their Purple Heart. Nothing wrong with that.

I got mine shortly after starting playing the game. The Essex was being raped at Oman and I was just too much of a noob to know that it wasn't a good place to be with 2 jets and arty strikes raining pain from above.

I did get awarded a 2nd Purple Heart midway through another game, but I got a few quick kills in at the end of the round which took my ratio out of the 1:4 danger area. So even if you do get the drum roll for the Heart, you can still escape it's clutches!

i had my friends kill me 20x so I could get one. Awards are cool, but now i feel like a noob with a purple heart.

1 and it was a lot more difficult to get than I anticipated. I like medals so I went to a Karkand map killed 5 people the proceeded to run around in front of the other team so they could kill me. You would be amazed how difficult it can be to die 20 times in 1 round.

Zero ...I still use my first account (I have a second, but rarely pub with it), and I even was at one point so fustrated with this game, I TRIED to get one. STILL couldn't get one, ..it was like I couldn't even do that right. What a noob, ...whew, glad those days are over.

None, but I let my cousin play on my old account and he got me a Purple Heart on that one, so it doesn't really count. :p
