Let's talk .50 cal, shall we?

Just unlocked the Barret, and, being a hardwhore, it's normally a one hit kill, unless you hit leg against juggernaut. But then I tried it in normal mode. Out of 12 kills that round, 2 of them were from the first shot. ****ing 2. This wasn't with stopping power, but it wasn't against juggernaut either. Either way, it's gimped beyond belief... The SVD kills in 1 hit more often.

Balance this, balance that. Every game can't be about balance, sure it might make people happy. But a freaking .50 cal?? Balancing that?? That just plain stupid and a dumb choice. You work all the way up to lvl 49, get the .50 and it still can't kill in one hit, when a M40 or R700 can do just that?

Yet CEVO League, wants to take out the .50 cal because some claim to be overpower? what are they smoking when they said that? OK then, take out the M40, R700 , M21 and the SVD. Ohh wait, that's all of them.. HAHA nub rules ftw.


IW really needs to look at the .50 cal is all I'm saying.

@TheEndofWar: Everybody leave the game?? No, know one would. To get a max lvl of 55, it took me 2 days playing HQ and S&D. No one will leave the game, they would get a BOOST of joy and play the game non-stop till they get lvl 49 and get a hold of it.

Dude just play on Hardcore mode that is almost as close to the real life as it can get.

Dude just play on Hardcore mode that is almost as close to the real life as it can get.

No, Matches won't be on hardcore, so I'm not going to play on something that I can't learn from down the road.

It is true that playing non-hardcore makes you a better sniper, however, playing hardcore is more satisfying.

.50 caliber.. if you shoot the guy in the foot.. that guy will lose his foot.. it should be insta-kill to head/torso/thighs and if you hit anywhere else they will be missing that bit to make it they go into instant Last Stand even though they might not have the perk

They say it's overpowerd because they know how to take a descent shot. And when they do their enemy is down (6 feet that is)

I don't know about you guys, but when I get a confirmed hit on somebody's head without juggernaut, it's always a kill. You have to steady the sniper for a good two or so seconds before firing to get a hit. With the .50cal I got a kill on one shot chest/neck shots. I'm not sure what you guys are talking about... :hmm:

Exactly the same with me, Chest or neck one hit, head one hit (derrr) and the rest is usually 2 hit.

I agree.. I know they know the sniper's are broken they just are to busy with there money now.. I will tell you right now, we will not see a fix for the sniper's.. I try to get into sniping but I get to pissed at the fact, I hit em 2 time and they are not dead.. I use the M40...

Obvious headshots with held breath for long time sometimes don't register.

Or I'm just a lousy sniper. :hmm:
