Just from my own observations Ive noticed that when you start pumping your mg into a chopper its more likely to target you.

In RL, helicopters have thermal vision, so you can hide wherever you want, it will find you.
Technically speaking :)

IRL some Ghillie suits have thermal masking properties so snipers cant be picked up on those cameras (British army deffinatly has them ive seen them in two different documentries).

thermal masking works partially and your still dead if you have an observant HIND pilot at the stick. Besides if your playing in a room with me, no need to worry. the helos always follow ME around and shoot ME up, no one else. It will even hover over the area im about to spawn in just to get me. I dont know if i did something to tick IW off or what. But i feel they made the choppers target me specifically no matter where im at!:wall:

Very true. If you're going to attack it with bullets, be sure you have some hard cover to duck behind, as it will then notice you and target you.
