indeed and the barrett 50 cal sniper is kinda weak. i was playing on bloc tonight and shot a dude standing still at the entrance to one of the apartment buildings the hit indicter lite up but no kill. i would think getting shot by a 50 cal snipe in the right upper back would surely kill u it would actually blow a huge chunk outta yea

No, Ghillie suits themselves are only optical camoflage. Other gear is available to reduce your thermal signature; no nanosuits involved.

Choppers are overpowered, remove 'em, they keep killing me, it's so unfair. His weapon is better than mine, BUT when I use it, there's something wrong=I must be lagging,he's using some perks nobody has, he's obviously "hacking"...

Girls, I've seen snipers finish first ... and the round had at least 5 choppers PER ONE ROUND, PER ONE SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It all depends on you and your team, if you see/hear a chopper is called, make sure you take it out 1st, but if you can't take it out fast, then PLEASE just stop bitchin' ... That sniper was on my team, and he helped too, to take the chopper out. All the choppers the other team called went down before getting MAXIMUM 3 kills on us ...

This thread was neither an attack on a weapon nor individual. However, you have managed to turn it into one. Look, I'm saying that it is hard enough to snipe already with the map sizes, but to have a God-like helicopter is just a bit unfair.

Not hard to finish first as a sniper with helos/jets - when you are using them!

No offence but you have plenty of options as a sniper when dealing with a helo.

1. Take cover in a building till it passes.

2. Take the RPG perk and shoot it down.

3. Shoot at it with your gun or pick up someone elses gun and shoot at it and when it comes for you take cover.

4. Die like a newbie and then whine.

It gotten to the point where helo's die after 30-40 seconds if you have a good team, don't get mad at the chopper blame yourself for not being a team player and your team for not understanding the game.

1. A lot of times, snipers are prone in the grass, hidden. If they moved, their position would be given away.

2. A sniper would be easily spotted if they had an RPG-7 on their back.

I'm sorry if it came off that way, but you can't stay prone hidden forever just because your a sniper. Problem is poeple watch movies and think army marines crap and think there a hidden ghost.

This a game and if a helo/airstrike means making you runs from your hidden spot I call that BALANCE. Now you don't see it that way because your a sniper. Plus there not even alot of maps with grass.....

3) AND I DID NOT SAY you whine too much ... those were general remarks to different threads on this forum...

Let me put it this way, I like the sniper kit also, I've played it in other FPS games, COD4 it's just not for sniping... I will agree on this one with you. Even if they bring bigger maps, the way the game rolls ... snipers don't really stand a chance. There were rounds I've played where my team was able to change the opposite teams spawn point for at least 4-5 times in a round...

GOD-like choppers?!? They're more like butter to me ... I don't know on what servers you play on, and yes , sometimes you get on a team that really sucks ... me, I usually go random and for some reason whenever the other team calls in a chopper, it goes down in a matter of seconds...

Whatever kit you have, just spawn with a LMG and take it out and then spawn back as a sniper when you die again?! I mean how hard is it?!? Takes a couple of seconds to change the kit!!

I don't need everyone's respect, I need everyone's blood on my knife. :P :P

Oh, almost forgot, that sniper DID NOT use ANY air strikes nor choppers that round , had over 700 points, just skill killz!! I KNOW because he's one of my clan mates... PEACE!! We sometimes set ourselves goals, like no strikes, no choppers, knives only, pistols only, etc etc on regular pub servers. Just to make more challenging and add more fun to it... For example, imagine everyone in our clan, on a pub server, on Shipment with the sniper kit and getting top positions ... :P

It's all good, just noticed you're like 16 and Spik3d is like 15. In a couple of years you guys will understand. No offence, just mature remarks. THIS IS NOT A GAME FOR SNIPERS!! In a game like this, where 99.99% of the times the "life" expectancy is a couple of second on most maps and if you're a decent player you should get maybe 2-3 kills before you die, YOU're telling me you want to stay hidden in the grass for hours and just get kill after kill ... forget about it. At least not in this game. I PERSONALLY think air strikes and choppers bring a good balance to the game, irritating or not, they have their place and role in this game...

When I said "mature remarks" , it was addressed to Spik3d ... nobody is attacking anybody ... it's just some personal views about the "snipers" in this game.
