Or use as a distraction when low rank guys liek me see a pretty red tiger m4 and look at it,then we get headshotted

Well, I've seen it put to good use especially for snipers. I remember our whole team just walked past this prone sniper on the grass until a few of us were picked off before we noticed him.

It's also very useful because the easiest way for me to identify a target is by their gun as it usually sticks out ahead of them when behind cover. With a good choice of cammo, I wouldn't see the gun clearly and would walk away.

So yes, cammo is a really good choice.

Cammo is fairly useless apart from the e-genital department. I always roll with Digi camouflage as someone else already mentioned.
