Official COD 4 Forums = Worst forums Ever.

I just cannot get any help from anyone in these forums regarding my flickering shadows/black model problems. All I get from people is "your hardware sucks". This is worst than counter-strike forums! I have a 7950GX2 card with the new beta drivers installed and still has not helped me. Anyone else having this problem and/or find that the official forums are just plain out of control?

Official game forums tend to be the worst, for every game. It's where all the little kids and the elitists go. I've never joined an official forum in my life due to that reason, i prefer fan sites like these, where you get the real core gamers who have intelligence.

I dont think the official ET:QW forums are too bad, but otherwise i generally agree.

Either way. Try newer(or even older) drivers. I'm using the 91.47 drivers and having no problems. But then again, mine is a GT and not a GX2. Your dual GPU setup may be causing a similar problem as a Dual-Core/Quad running an unsupported game engine. Get my drift? I'd look around to find out which driver is recommended for your card for Cod4. Because honestly, you paid good money for your card, and should not have problems running this game.

Oh, and I think I was the only person who didn't post something along the lines of, "lulumad?".

Also, I didn't read your full post. Get rid of those beta drivers, they never cause anything good.

yeah I agree I was in them forums for a bit but when i post somthing there is always some kid that spams this **** out of my post and all the others and I hate how the consoles kids always post in the pc part... at least here it is moslty PC

Also, I've noticed that theres absolutely no way to report abusive comments nor do I ever see the devs responding to comments regarding tech help.

wow i just read that thread, that's exactly why i hate official forums, and why kids should have to show ID to buy games that are 17+, just like buying cigarettes or alcohol, so we can avoid having to deal with little 12 year old boys who need attention because their mommy and daddy don't love them.
