I would have to say I agree with Idaeus, your never a coward running away from Heavy AA, they can tear your tanks apart in a second, in fact I would call you a plain moron for standing around taking their fire unless you had AA support.

well what i was saying is that I was giving the guy AA support. in fact i had 3 HAAs and 2 repairs following his tank formation and he still run away... guess what? the heavy choppers ran away too... and the guy could've capped the point easily if he was going the right direction.

When your playing as air, ALWAYS use one scout chopter. Your view range will be bigger and you can use the IR scan to detect inf in forests or tanks under smoke. Works great if you have to fire off quick AT missiles at tank and GTFO before the AA catches you. Use earial recon alot. Its dirt cheap and will help not only you but your entire team.

When playing as HAA, try to hide your units behind buildings and trees. That way enemy chopter guys probably not spot you untill its too late. Also, when someone is running away from you, DRIVE after him. Too many times i see HAA guys not folowing me and giving me a nice chance to escape.

Isn't it quite impossible to drive after choppers tho? I mean they are much faster and are unaffected by terrain.

Eventually they WILL get away but if you drive after them you can fire off 1-3 more volleys of AA missiles and will probably take the guy down
