no drivable vehicles at all...NONE!

the maps are very small and confined, like a counterstrike map, you cant traverse many parts of the map since its set up to resemble a blueprint of sorts, square blocks of rooms all connected, no sandbox style or free roaming. this is just CS source with a new name. i was very very disappointed with the multi player. the single player is fine but i sure wouldn't buy a game solely based on its single player aspect.

I have to say since I bought COD4 I havent played any other game, I love it.

There is no nade spam, and the perks make it good to play, I reckon i'll go back to BF2 eventually, but not for a while

Give it some time for all the exploits, cheats and hacks to kick in, and for all the retards to start playing and administering the servers, then enjoy it.

I love it. Especially the ranking which is very fast: server will start using custom mods and maps.
I already have all the unlocks and mess around with different combinations.
Fun as **** when you get good at it. I like the fact that you need fast *** reflexes and thinking to stay alive in the the clusterfcuks that some maps are.
UT3 and CoD4 are, imo, the best MP shooters atm.

Wtf, where's the challenge if I get to the highest ranks within a few hours playing?

I'm afraid CoD4 will be to fast for me, I'm old and slow (like my pc) and I will stick with BF2 a bit longer.

The challenge is being good at the game, not getting ranks. Even if you are a General in a few hours, you`ll still get your *** handed to you by some random private over and over again.
CoD4 is a game where ranks don`t mean s*it right from the start.

it will take some time, the new will wear off, people will learn the mapps, nades will dominate on those small mapps, it will die down quick. allthough im sure there will be some dedicated to it for some god forsaken reason.
