Anyone else think they kind of killed all posibilities for an expansion pack based on the same conflict? everything seems to wrap up. the loyalist russians get a handle on the ultranationalists. Al-assad is dead.

everyone except for soap is dead. i mean hell, the epilogue seemed like it was just a random mission thrown in for hte coolness/badass factor.

the game seems to be doing really good so id expect to see a sequel or an ex pack in some time.


also was anyone else just plain old bothered how everyone, marines and SAS included died. except for soap. that just bugged me...

You know what i'd reaaaally love to see, is an expansion or a game where it follows the deadly war between the SAS and the IRA over the years. It could take you from the streets of dublin and belfast, to the IRA training camps in Libya.

Yes that got me very disappointed, I'm surpirised you could have such great gameplay, awesome graphics, but a let down story. I would be okay if some people died in a huge explosion, but EVRYBODY but Soap dying is just...(fill in the blank).

Price couldn't have lived sadly though, for many reasons I just learned in Biologie.

I enjoy the game very much but tbh the scenario is the most stupid I ever met. With such a crappy story line, you can think of any expansion pack you want, it won't make such a difference :laugh:

You have to remember guys, this isn't an EA Game. They don't leave things unfinished in order to extract money from your hands.

As for the ending, I don't think it'd be right to bring Price back from the dead. It's like when he threw that pistol, that was his last dying act, to make sure that Imran met his end.

Now, if they were to do an expansion, they could have Soap as a leader, now, say two years on. You could be leading, instead of the new guy.

Or, they could do some flashbacks again, like they did in all Ghillied Up.

You always seem to play the new guy in these games, thats what annoys me.
However, the fact that all the heroes and all the villians died but you in the end, was deliciously refreshing.

I have to agree and i like to also say that i think this story wos as reall as it can be.And that is why this story feel more outstanding then any sp story out there.Part from the Brothers In Arms game.

They developers siad they did want the game to feel more like a movie with the atmospheric haze and floating debris etc. It almost feels like your in black hawk down of saving private ryan minus wwII.

There will always be bad guys and war. Anyone can come out of the woodworks and be the next guy to take over the world.

I agree with CptCrunch, there is a massive resource in storylines for this game. A good expansion pack idea for instance could be that you're in a navy seal squad, some new characters and your mission is to take down a terrorist who's growing in strength, so on and so forth. Then it can switch to Soap leading a SAS team as Torchwood mentioned earlier. Many ideas, there should be a tread on this, "ideas for the next storyline" lol.

As for the storyline for this game ... i thought it was bad *** that Price threw me a gun to cap off that SOB. Everything was solved no teasers left to have us waiting on the next part for another year or so, it's perfect ! And the "All Ghillied Up" mission, I can't get enough of it, sniping, sneaking, taking badguys out with a silenced scoped rifle, what's more to ask for ?! A+++ for this game !!!

Wouldn't Gaz be the team leader? I'm pretty sure Gaz didn't die (atleast when I played he didn't).
