I've been playing the Crysis multiplayer beta for the past few days. The other night I was playing and though "Wow, this game reminds me a lot of BF2. Now that I think of it... I think I'm going to go play it." so I closed crysis and started playing BF2 :)
The "power struggle" in crysis is fun at times, but the amount of hackers (even though it's just the beta, there are sooo many hackers that it's hard to think about what the real game will be like) makes the game really annoying.
Hackers aren't the only annoying thing. The sniper rifles reload faster than in BF2 and can 1 hit kill (depending on where you hit them, and trust me, it's A LOT easier to 1 hit kill in crysis than in BF2) even when they're wearing their armor suit. The rocket launchers vs infantry in crysis is 12948i23095782385907235 times worse than in BF2. The rockets go much faster, so it's almost impossible to dodge them (unlike bf2) and you can shoot it 5 feet infront of you and you won't die. If it wasn't for the fact that you have to actually buy the weapons (buy them with money you get from capturing bases and killing people. The weapons disappear after you die, so you have to keep rebuying everything) then snipers and rocket launchers would be the only weapons used.
1 thing I did like in crysis, that isn't possible in BF2, is when a vehicle is coming at you to run you over, you go in strength mode and you can jump way over the car. Then, since the car is going full speed at you, he'll crash into a wall and most likely blow up.

I mean, how do you know how the new game is gonna be? Yes, of course you can try the demo, but who knows how the full version will be, how the community will be, how the bugs will be, how the maps and gameplay will be?
