Like I said, some of the official sources don't match up. Look at the trailer on YouTube (that pans around earth timing until 2142, then zooms in) and then compare to what the maps look like in-game, and you'll see that there's some "discombobulations" - things don't really match up.

You can take a look at this if you want.

This was before Northern Strike came out so I didn't include it but I guessed a general date for when EU counter attacked.

Actually, according to this we shouldn't have listened to Al Gore.
We need to keep pumping carbon into the air, or 2142 will happen. :p

Pretty good. Are you going to do a northern strike timeline when the EU counterattacked?

Well.... the effort is commendable.... the knowledge of geography is not.

                  - The marked position for Berlin is way off.... on that map it is more located at the real life position of Frankfurt. (deviation of nearly 500km

                  - Verdun is not in southern France but a city (it used to be anyway) on the French-German border.

                  - Cerbère is a French town on the French-Spanish border. It is not even near Verdun (somewhat 400-500km distance between those two and at least 100 km deviation from real position)

                  - Camp Gibraltar would be on the African side since the PAC attack direction is from north to south. Even if we discount the few kilometer between Europe and Africa here, the location on the map is simply wrong, since Gibraltar is the southernmost point of continental Spain. (Deviation app. 500km)

As for the timeline.... looking it up, the chronologic order is:

                  Minsk: Oct. 2139
                  Belgrade: Feb. 2140
Fall of Berlin: Aug 15th 2140
                  Verdun: End 2140
Cerbere Landing: 2142 (not further specified but supposedly at the beginning)
                  Camp Gibraltar: April 10th 2142,
                  Suez Canal: May 1st 2142
Tunis Harbor: during the battle of Suez canal so supposedly during May 2142
                  Shuhia Taiba: Nov 11th 2142
Sidi Powerplant: Not specified but supposedly sometime 2143

                  Nothern strike would add:

Bridge of Remagen: March 7th 2145
Port Bavaria: not specified but apparently after March 2145 but before Leipzig
Liberation of Leipzig: Late summer 2145

As for Highway Tampa.... I would say somewhere around 2146

In here you are wrong, the scenario of 2142 is not as far fetched as you think.
The global warming can bring a sudden Ice age, i´ll try to explain, we live in a temprate Europe because of the gulf stream that brings "hot" water from the tropics via North America, when this water reaches the northern regions of the Atlantic it becomes coller then descends to the southern regions and this makes a never ending stream that brings "hot" water this far North.

With the global warming there will be a defrost of the north pole and a lot of cold and "unsalted" (don´t know what is the term in english) water will be pumped into the Norht Atlantic, this may cause the gulf stream to stop.

This "hot" water that comes from the tropics it´s what makes our climate temperate...without that Almost all Europe and Northen America would be frozen...and the "unsalted" water doesn´t need to be as cold as the salt water to freeze...so join the cog´s. There are models that say it´s possible in a 10 years spam, if this stream stops, to have Europe and North America under Ice.

So I wonder what caused the last ice age. Man didn't cause that. And I don't think we can cause another one. It's just the natural cycle of the earth.

Thanks for all your replies guys. I'm going to add more, I promise, but life just filled up again. I don't have time to read it all right now but will ... eventually...

If somebody wants to complete it sooner, though, I can forward a Fireworks PNG file if you're interested and even fix up some of my goofs, and then I can update the original post to keep it organized. Cheers!

You are approximatly of my age and you should remember what people said in the eighties.
"-Man couldn´t possible cause global warming, the earth is just to big!".
Now, no one disputes it anymore or you do thing that what´s happening is the "natural cycle of the earth"?
I didn´t see the movie from Al Gore but people that saw it said that it explains reasonably well what´s happening, you should give it a peek .

No one disuptes global warming? You must be kidding? Scientists do not all agree whether there is global warming and they do not agree whether it is man made. If you are as old as me then you should remember Time Magazine in the 70's talking about global cooling! A volcano eruption can put out more carbon than all of man for months or years. I know North America has warmed by 0.5 degrees and the whole earth has warmed less than that. Is that considered global warming?

Here is one example of someone who disagrees with global warming, John Coleman, the founder of Weather Channel:

Here is a simplified version for us layman:

Global warming isn't for 100% just our humans fault but we have definately helped speeding up the process.

And infact Europe and North America would be like Siberia if there wasn't any hot water streams coming from the south. Siberia is about the same distance from the north pole as the central parts of europe, it's just much colder cause there's no water around to bring hot streams.

And I'm talking about the lower parts of Siberia by the way. It's still like -40 degrees in the winter there.

                                Seriously.
