Who's Ditching BF2?

I must confess that since ive recieved Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, i have not played BF2 once. Im sorry, but CoD4 is really a good game, a really really good game and the multiplayer imo is better than BF2. Once i get alittle tired of CoD4 ill probably go back 2 BF2, but untill then. GO HARD, GO STRONG, OR GO HOME

COD4 seems to be ok and even BF2 but at least COD4 doesn't have Pure "Ranked" servers that your required to rent from.

But if any game right now is better than BF2 its Crysis.. and I'd say Crysis is much better than COD4.


Edit: as of now COD4 player count online has almost caught up with BF2.. about 10K each.
TF2 has even caught up with BF2...

I'll still play ladder matches with the clan like i'm doing now, that's pretty much it, just waiting for Crysis (getting it tuesday) and UT3 the week after. I've never been a fan of the CoD games (hell i've tried them all, just don't like em enough to play more than 1 day).

Yeah, I sorted out the account problems so this is me josh.m posting from my old/main totalbf2 account: Bob_Is_Scary (now name-changed to ichangedmyname). Yes confusing, I know.

But: I love BF2 and have played some 750 hours. Yet recently trying out CS:S and anxiously awaiting CoD4 have drained the BF2ness right out of me.

CoD4 the day after it's release was one slot below BF2 in Xfire list- it will damn well be as popular by Christmas time. I am an I/O fan so it is even better- nothing against BF2 it was my first online game, but it is time to discover my second.

Not a chance. BF2 all the way.

I've spent 18 months playing on GOO alone. There has got to be a few more years trying out Karkand, Mashtur, Ghost Town, Wake, etc, etc.

Not to mention I'm only just trying out the Spec Ops Kit and Medic. Barely touched AT and Supply.

BF2 has too many options to give it up.

Except I play more maps. Mostly have been sniper, engy, supply, spec ops. Haven't barely touched AT and medic.

AND, I'm just now getting into the aircraft. I see AT LEAST another year for me.

I have ditched it already for CoD4. When I get my hands on UT3, I`ll ditch CoD4 too.

Then its not that fun for me. Its so much fun to take out assets when your on foot. Or just rape ppl with assets...
