MP problems

Could any one help me out. I can't get into any multi player games. I click on refresh list and it just says waiting for response from master server. I've been trying to get into multi player for several hours and have had no luck and I'm starting to get a bit irked. All my other multi player games work just fine. I've tried completely turning off my firewalls and anti virus programs and still no luck. I mainly got the game for multi player and would like to try it out.

I was finally able to join a server. It may be a PB problem, I don't know. But atleast I got to level 13 (or was it 14) and got a silencer for my MP5.

Since all of you guys are having the same problem, it seems as a mainbase problem, just like we had occasionally with BF2, since i am a EU'er i can't tell u if i would have the same problem, because i am getting the game not for friday (so stop the whinning bitchas )

I remember with Bf2 i had this same problem, always, and it was because i selected the option VOIP, when i turned that off, suddenly never any server error more.


So people, try turning of VOIP (if that's in the game, because as said i don't have it yet)

I've been using game-monitor.com to find an America server, then using the console and typing /connect <IP address of server>. The only down side is that I can't be guaranteed good ping .

Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Yea, I was just playing for like 20min earlier without a problem now my servers wont update.....

Well I've been playing for the past few hours and I am going back to the same server I found on the link I posted above. The servers are being tracked so if you want to play then go hop on a populated server. Click the server link to see its location and status.

I have the same issue, but I seem to be able to get past the not being able to connect to servers by turning off my anti virus and windows firewall. That may be a fix.

The server list is up, but it just times out.

Kinda frustrating.........like reading a Playboy with the wife turning the pages..............LOL

yepp wow, good job COD4! Now im getting that " waiting for master server " thing. It went from not being able to join a server, to not even being able to see any servers! I wonder what's the next step, does the game explode in my dvd drive and send shrapnel into my face?
