There are only 3 things to remember and you will be ok with assualt class. First stay close to a support guy so that you can get more ammo. Second use your cover wisely then there is no need for long range shots. Third practice switching between the nade launcher and the standard weapon.
Those will get you by but you can do more. Always Point your weapon where the enemy would be if he is there. That way you wont be suprised if he is and fire 3 shot bursts. Always keep moveing! Foward or back, to the left or right but you will do better if you keep moveing. Even in CQC (close quarters combat) moveing left or right while fireing is a very handy skill to develope. Oh and remember retreat is a necessary skill for assualt. Always retreat toward the largest, closest group of friendly troops. In order to keep this fairly short Ill stop there. I love the assault class. The grenade launcher is bad ***. That movie Elpfipso was pretty good. However, walking around with grenade launcher out against an experienced player as myself would have you looking at your respawn screen more often than not. The first thing I look for when going up against the assault class is if the person has their launcher equiped. Most of the time they do. I simply wait for the shot and jump out of the way. Regardless if Im damaged or not I will take you out before you can even equip your gun. From experience I've learned to rely on my gun 1st and use the grenade launcher as a secondary weapon.
Im also surprised that you dont use your iron sites. Some of your shots you decided to go burst without the sites when you could have saved ammo and time if you used single shot plus iron sights.
I guess we just play different. I really cant blame you for using the grenade launcher as a primary because most players cant or dont have the know how to avoid it.Comment

I didn’t mean to brag about my GL-skills with that video..
I just wanted to show that the GL is a really good weapon if used properly. A good way to get points when playing assault and having fun at the same time
I’m not an expert in using the GL. In fact I have just used it for a short period and found that it is a lot of fun using it.
There are ppl a lot better than me with the GL and with any other weapon.
I usually use the GL as primary weapon. I fire it and switch to the M16 to finish. I wouldn’t use the single shot because most of the times I use the GL in CQC and my aim is so bad that I need the burst, lol.
The same for the iron sights. Specially on the M16 I find them a bit to fat and on a short distance I like the crosshairs better.
I would indeed switch to iron sights + single shot when engaging a distant target. But that would be another movie.
It’s very important to have a fast reaction when walking around with the GL. Depending on the distance the grenade travels quite a time until it hits the target. So if you are a bit to slow you’re dead before your grenade hits the ground. Happens to me quite a lot against skilled players. So always see the enemy before he sees you.

I wasnt really talking about cqc on single shot. There were quite a few times in your vid when you didnt use the iron sites at imo fairly far ditances.

Precisely why the launcher isnt my primary weapon. I've gotten so efficient in my game that I can tell by the arch of the nade if it will connect or not. Or depending on the distance I know that a simple strafe to the left or right will avoid any damage (due to the low splash radius).Comment

I tink its best on jeeps & hummers, any small vehicle like that. any other time unless i know like there hunkered down in a building or rampart or something & i can hit with bullet then i'll use it.
but each his own, everbodys diff. ya good with it, wear it out.Comment
