Unlock advice

I have 6 unlocks available. I want to get some kind of medic load out, but I'm not sure what to do yet. I can go for the voss, and get a crappy useless smoke grenade on the way, or go for the baur and get the useful rockets on the way. What path should I go? Which gun is better/would be better for playing as a medic/assault?

Aside from that, I want to get the recon tree as well, because I know you can rake up massive points with rdx/apm. I hear the advanced sniper rifle sucks though. True?

I just want to make sure I spent my points on the best unlocks possible.

tbh i wud go for the bauer because of its firepower but the voss is a noob weapon if you go crouch you can kill anything at any distance with 5-7 shots
and for the zeller yea it somewhat sucks i rather wud go for the carbine but its your choice so.

Well for the assault kit, I want the killing machine. Don't really care if people call it a noob weapon, I just want the best one. I'm really turned off by the smoke grenade though.. and kind of want the rockets on the heavy tree.

note: I planned on getting the lambert, I was just wondering if it would be worth it to get the zeller too.

Zellar is shice. Lamber sucks at close and wide range. It's only suitable to sneak up on someone and load out the whole clip to get the kill.
Take the Voss. It's the easier Assault Rifle. Go for PK Rockets. Smoke Grenades are useless. Defibrillator is a must.

Go for Voss unless you already are a proficient marksman. If that is the case, go for the Baur.

here's the thing, anyone who comes into a thread and tells you that any weapon in the game can "kill anything" or "doesn't require any skill" is a massive idiot whos opinion isn't even vallid.

No gun in the game is a killing machine, if you suck at the game, or you suck with that gun, it WILL NOT make you a killing machine, you'll just suck with the voss.

what you need is not some fathead coming into a thread and convincing you to get the voss because it can kill anything you shoot at whether you aim or not hur hur.... you need real opinions based on facts.

The Bauer is a great tree, the gun is good, very powerful, deadly on single fire, very accurate, problem is the recoil, firing out of single round mode takes more skill than firing any weapon except the RDX Shotgun. The rockets are a great addition, and when combined with any assault rifle allow you to be a good fighter close up, and deadly at a distance. (If the rockets don't kill your target, they usually do a good job keeping their head down so you can change position)

The Voss is actually not my favorite tree. The smoke grenade is useless in a lot of situations, and does little more than give away your position. The shotgun can be pretty good, it's underused because most people want to have rockets / defib but it does have the power of the one shot kill and a good rate of fire. The voss is a good weapon, probably the two best reasons to get it are the large clip size, and the ability to full auto into someone less than ten feet and generally get the drop on them. At a distance, it's a pretty good gun, not the best, you have to pace yourself, fire in small bursts, a lot of people will tell you you can just aim in the general direction of the enemy and hold the mouse down, but that's not true, I kill more people who think that than any other kind of soldier. Full auto is not your friend, you really have to aim, and go slow. Good gun all around, and comboed perfectly with either the rockets or the shotgun.

Personally (and this is my opinion) but if you like assault, I would focus on getting both trees unlocked, Bauer / Shotgun is an intense killling combo if you like rushing into the fight and dropping people. Voss / Rocket combo is a great tool for haning back at bit picking people off before you rush in.

if you play more conquest maps than titan, i would def get voss first. baur is more suited for long range.

recon kit is useful with pretty much any unlocks. zellar has some overlooked qualities like being able to destroy MM, apms and rdx. while lambert is difficult to use without a bit of training.

I'd recommend going the baur tree. Rockets are invaluable for any assault gun and the baur is a beast once you learn to control the recoil.

Lol dont know what that is But the Voss is a useless weapon just because when u prob get used 2 it then switch 2 another weapon that isnt overpowered ull find it hard 2 get used 2 again :)

Ok here are the facts straight and simple.

The voss kills **** fast. Which is why 98% of players use it. Which is why the 2% that dont are considered awesome.

Personally, the best combo for raking up points is by having the pk rockets and the defib equipped. Which is the best tactic if you want to rank up faster.

I would unlock the defib, then unlock the baur tree up to the pk rockets. While you are at the pk rockets you can use you're squad upgrade thingy to unlock the baur and see how you do with it (it does take some getting used to)

I personally go with the stock rifles + pk rocket + defib if I want I feel like getting gold a certain round

but then again I could pwn voss-spraying nubcakes close range with my **** if I wanted to because im so 1336+1

Not a bad analogy.

I don't know what rank you r, and what else you have unlocked, so I'll put 'em in order:

First 3 personal unlocks
SL beacon
Then, since you like assault: The stock rifles are hella good. The SCAR-11 is also better after the patch comes out. So get defib, and the Baur tree up thru rockets. You can then try the baur via field unlock, and if you like it, great. But neither it or the voss are "super weapons."

The Lambert makes the Recon kit able to play a whole new style from the sniper. So depending which kit you like better:
APM
Lambert tree up to lambert.

Then Engy, who has great toys, or support. In both of these kits, there are nifty toys all the way up both trees, so just start plugging away at 'em.
