    Picking up enemy weapons

Hey all, I was just wondering do you guys pick up enemy weapons, or do you try to kill only with your guns.

I try to only use my guns, like most soldiers do, but in COD2 I remember I always picked up anything I saw.

Because now with ACOGs, Reflex sights, and other stuff would you use a weapon somebody else uses that isn't how you like it?

Say you Like M4s, with Reflex sigths, and you see an M4 with a silencer, would you use it?

And also don't you think it be good if we could pick up ammo from weapons with different attachments and stuff so long as it's same caliber, like an M249 picking up M16/m4 mags, or an M21 guy taking M14 mags.

What you you guys thin of these things?

And is the Silend Death perk realy worth it?

For your 1st question I'd only use my original weapons I chose unless I saw the same gun with an attchment I havent yet got. For your 2nd question if you had a M249 LMG you couldnt pick up M4/M16 clips because it has a different Reload system not to mention the M249 uses a Bullet belt to feed the ammo in. So takeing every bullet out of a clip would be time consuming as well as tedius. The Dead Silence perk is worth it if your a covert Ops player like myself I dont like anyone to know where I am, but I dont know if I will use it as much as Steady Aim or Deep Impact. :salute:

Actually, the place where the bullets feed into was made to acomodate M4/M16 clips, you can look at any gun site it will tell oyu that, it was done so that if the gunner ran outa ammo he could ask for clips from his squad.

Yeah, I goes that silent death thing sounds cool, but I would only use it to run up and knife somebody, because in COD games walking when crouched makes no noise.

        but crouch is slow.

id much rather use a different perk, but on small maps with less players where there will be less shooting, it will be great.
