yeah i tend to go left as well although i try to wait near the core and catch the group as they run out. Most run without ever looking back so it's usually quite easy to kill 5 or 6 guys as they try to exit the titan. If i am on the enemy titan i will hang back and kill the guys trying to deny people the escape pin. Nothing better than killing someone who has someone else in their sights.

Defending: why exit? It doesn't ding your K/D stats. I try and pick off as many runners as I can. Support / Assault > Recon / Engi. If you're Recon and try and drop mines, I've had matches where the mines disappear, leaving me hold a useless detonator while a runner sprays me. Support, I'll just lay down a sentry gun, whip out Mr. Clark and deny the heathen invaders thier little momento.

Attacking: Run, do not walk, to the closest exit.

Subconsciously and on a psychological level, about 51% of exits from the Titan will be to the left, and 49% to the right. I make a random choice between the two on offense, and on defense I stack the left with the most ordnance available and try to deny some folks their pins.

A bit strange, since we drive on the right side of the road where I live, you would think that would shape your instincts.

Hm, wierd, it's always right for me, most people go to the right exit on the servers I played.

This is right for people facing toward the back of the titan.

Not that I play a great deal of Titan these days, but I always exit on the right past corridor 1.
