Nah, CoD4 is probably not going to be a big dissapointment, much like BF2 and its misleading trailers...

How many of you think you'll put BF2 up for COD 4? :salute:
I'll be starting out with the singleplayer campaign, but I have a big feeling I'll be playing the multiplayer for a while to come. Essentially, dividing myself up between both...

Oh, and don't worry: people will find ways to wh0re and rape.

i know the demo version of CoD4 was pretty short, but if it's anything to go by, i'd say it will be a pretty good game, but will it make leave a mark like CoD2 did? probably not. saying this i'm likely to get it as there were aspects of it that i enjoyed.

oh to Ad, why would you uninstall BF2 when you put a new game on? or do you have a 20GB hard drive?

Don't think that the next big thing will change online gaming/gamers.
Are you totally oblivious to the gameplay of any FPS other than BF2? BF2 is by far the worst game I've played when it comes to what I listed in my first post.

So I posted in the wrong forum, so what? If it's that big of an issue then a mod will move it. Apparently you're not one and can't do anything except whine about it. Kudos to you.

There have been smacktards since I played Doom via dial-up(Back then we called them @ssmunches, Beavis and Butthead were huge...). The advent of team-based FPS gaming just opened the doors to different, more annoying kinds of @$$hattery.
BF2 may be one of the worst, but it's been a progressive thing. With PCs and broadband internet in more homes than ever, anyone can get online and screw with people who take GAMES way too seriously. I think new games will actually draw more little nasty b@st@rds into the mix. And cross-platform play with consoles? AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! All of those pieces of crap on X-Box Live are going to flood online gaming and make every game another Halo. Catered to the lowest common denominator- little punks spending mommy's money, controls dumbed-down so gamepad users can hang. It's a brave new world.

Nah, I'm definately sticking with BF2. No game right now will make me want to play it so badly that I'd uninstall BF2. Yes, I'm looking forward to Crysis and I'll be playing it A LOT, but there's just something about BF2 that always makes it fun.

And besides, like I said in some other topic, I get better performance in Crysis on all high, than on COD4 on all high. (As hard as that is to believe, IT IS TRUE! I'm just as confused as you lol)

If Halo players EVER get into the PC game world, I'm going to become a 187ci VIP. No questions asked.

Please excuse my ignorance, since BF2 is the only game I own and play, but what the hell is COD4?

You can't compare Bf2 to CoD4. Totally different gameplay, different players, different reactions. It's like comparing a n00b to a pro.. it can't be done
