I see it nearly everyday with the first screen shot of the next great game to be, "ohh man this game will rock" says the gaming world. We all wait for the demo amidst the swirling discussion of the death of BF2 including the mods. The hype built around these new games is only parralleled by the push for nex gen tech. You keep checking newegg waiting for a big rebate on the hardware needed to play the next level of gaming.

Well guess what? The new games SUCK! :yay:

Cod4 sucks its the same as CoD2 with some flashy stuff and a million rpgs, that aside BF2 is and was a very fun game to play to bad EA/DICE didt give us the full potential of the game by giving us constant community support but still, i look back on bf2 with good memorys, and yes! i bet the mods will be going a long time.

Too many bugs in this game IMO. I'm switching over to CoD4 sometime next month.

So CoD4 and UT3, ETQW suck? damn, aside from Quake 2, AA, UT and CoD UO, CoD4 and UT3 demos, ETQW are the most fun I`ve ever had.

Nothing will destroy BF2 because BF2 has ZERO competition. BF2 > Crysis, ETQW, * (except Source engine based games)

Maybe it'll change when these new games mature a fair amount, but the only thing that looks like it'll even dent BF2 is... Battlefield 3.

Keep thinking that. I've played BF2 since it's released and the game doesn't have much more to offer.
