  • What exactly counts to transport badges??

I tried searching so no flames please.
Couldn't find an answer to what i want to know.

    Which is.....

Which vehicles count towards the transport badges???
Obviously all the jeeps, buggies, DPV, vodnik etc.

    But what else.
    Transport choppers?? APC???? boats???

Just im trying to build up my hours for the expert transport. Got the vet already, but want to work towards to expert.

So does anyone know what exactly is transport??

Transport choppers are helis, boats are transport, apcs are armor. I felt a little burned on the transport chopper until I decided to go for heli badges.

Re: What exactly counts to transport badges??

As a general rule, anything with wheels and a machine gun is considered "transport".
An APC has wheels, but it has a 25mm cannon on it...so it doesn't quite count.

Anyway, in getting my Expert Transport, I stuck with the faster cars (FAV / DPV).

          Thanks guys

That clears that up, maybe a bit of commanding with a vehicle drop to sit in then

Only cars and boats in BF2 counts as transport. If you fly a blackhawk it will record on your chopter time and if you drive around in an APC, it counts as armor.

Re: What exactly counts to transport badges??

On a lot of Wake only servers, I always see a few USMC players just sitting in a boat getting transport time. Cheap way to do it but whatever...

Not only is that a cheap way, but totally boring too.

If your gonna play, then at least play.

The worst i would do, would be to command while sitting in a jeep, but that's about as far as it goes......

I bet I have more transport time than anyone on these forums. If you want transport hours, do it the fun way: Go to wake with a dpv and run those b¡tches down!

Nothing wrong with sitting in a car while commander and protecting important flag. A good example is Jalalabad MEC side when you protect your tank flag with a jeep's machine gun pointed at the back side entrance and mowing down poor soldiers To add some juice place claymore there

Actually they are used which amazes me cause they rarely get to the island (at least at the start of the round) That is one of the reasons I love wake in J10
