Eh, I guess so. I really want to squad more though because it's much more fun to be organized.

I know your new to the game, and probably don't have any mods for it. I can say this and one more thing.

1.) IF you like BF2 now, then do Karkand 24/7 and be medic and u'll get good.

2.) Download PR Mod (Project Reality) if your looking for that "Team" gameplay.

What do you mean by "Iron Sights"?

Iron sights are the built in sights for aiming with the guns. To use them, you right click your mouse to bring it up. It makes your fire more accurate, though there are exceptions.

My advice is to practice in single-player before you play online. Get used to hitting the bots with the different weapons, using all the different tactics. Shoot prone, crouching, standing-up, walking, in burst, single-bullet, and automatic. This will enable you to get a better understanding of how the weapons work.

Thanks for all the advice here. And I've been playing hours and hours of Karkand and basically what people do is spam granades in the beginning at the connection point of the city and the outskirts of the American base. Usually after that, the Americans sneak by and take the little island in the North-East section of the map and the other team usually defends the Train Accident. That's basically how every Karkand match has been going for me. And yet, when I try to snipe on the bridge, I usually get sniped before I can put my eye to my scope...

I try to play online right away, regardless of what people think so I can see the level of playing of other players then pretty much mimic and get better. There's over 2k servers, reputation shouldn't be a big thing.

BTW, anyone here interested in squading up regularly and play some Battlefield? It'd be pretty fun to have a few friends to start and hang out with, I find that that's the best way to get better and enjoy the game.

ya play single with bots that helped me get comfortable when i started playing a year ago. when i actually tried online i wasnt that bad since just think like your shooting bots online, lol. and ya i did do alot of karkland 24/7 :)

i still remember blasting a rank Colonel with a ak-47, i was like "Sweet! i dont suck!"

EDIT: or was that 2years ago...sheesh its been forever lol

Err, no mention of the G36? You'll get 2x as much kills with this gun as you do now. Oh yeah, SRAW/Eryx whoring is fun too, especially on Karkand...
