Question #1 (Answered): How does the weapon unlocking system work? (Please give me a link or tell me. I already searched.)

Question #2 (Answered): When I check my BFHQ stuff, I have a full bar of exp. (whatever you guys call it) and I played 5 games after that and it still shows me as a Private, is this just lag?

Question #3 (Answered): When I look at the main screen of Battlefield:



...I see all these symbols, where I can go to find out what they mean?

Basically

you get ONE UNLOCK per promotion starting from Lance Corporal. So once u get Lance corporal, you get one unlock and then when uget corporal, u get another unlock. And with these unlocks you can only unlock the first tier weapons (G36C, M95, DAO, JackHammer, PKM, L85A1, G3)

however, if you own a copy of special forces(expansion pack) and you play a few rounds under your account, u can start getting the 2nd tier of unlocks and for every promotion you get TWO UNLOCKS.

2nd tier wepaons include SCAR-L, L96A1, G36E, MG36, F2000, P90, Mp7

Q3: I don't know where you can find a description of the icon, but i can tell you what i know:

The icon at the server list.

Icon 1: Tells the ping.
Icon 2: Tells which server it is Linux or windows.
Icon 3: Then we have the "2" icon it tells that it is BF2 server, if it was a green one it tells that it is a BF2 Special forces server.
Icon 4: This one tells you if the server is ranked or not.
Icon 5: This one shows if the server has VoIP or not.
Icon 6: This is the PB icon it say if the server has punk buster on or off.
Icon 7: This is the screen icon, that one i don't know sorry what stands for.
Icon 8: The last icon say if the server is password protection.

Icon under the name screen.

Icon 1: The first one the cup is how many point you or the player have.
Icon 2: The next one is how many kills you have made.
Icon 3: The last one is how many times you have been kill.

The only ones you really need to know are the little chevron things that means it ranked or not, padlock, passworded.

The weapon unlock system works by ranking up then choosing your next weapon
