I feel ya man, happens to me a lot. I could unload 100 bullets into someone's head (while prone) and they still manage to kill me. And I'm pretty sure I'm hitting them because I see the little "X".

Maybe it's a conspiracy. Just keep practicing and it will change.

If you have different colours on the hit indicator - turn off the hack LOL.

This happens and is related to the crappy hit registration and/or ping differences between you and the other guy.

And, you do NOT always see the tiny x when hitting someone. Specially when sniping I got some nice hits without the x.

I think some servers dont show the X at all, heard somewhere, dont know how true it is?

it can fibb at times, i mean bf2 is full of bugs and roaches :)

i've stood with a nade in my hand & at times would see the hit mark before i threw it, and sometimes after i let it go before it would explode, alot of times i know there is no enemy like i be lookin at a wall or something, or a building & see the red hit indicator.

usually if you see ther ebody flopping like it takes hit is good indicator, i usually aim for headshot even if not a sniper. allways aim for the head with any weapon IMO

alright, so maybe the guy last night that took 3 sniper shots to the face at 30 feet wasnt hacking.. its just a crappy game.

I've seen a friend of mine take 30-50 bullets from the M249 SAW without loosing 1 hp. It was incane, i saw a cloud of dust around his head/shoulders from all those hits.

Ha, its awesome when i pull out a shotgun and kill them in one shot while their unloading a whole clip out at on me

^^Forces you to think smarter tho.. If get cauth in the open you wont be able to just sprint away. And it also "fixes" the hitbox issue.
