Re: Pump action shotgun?
You have it partially right.
The pump action of a pump shotgun ejects the spent shell and chambers a new one. This has to be done for each round you fire.
A semi-auto shotgun ejects the spent shell and chambers a new one on its own.
However, most still have some sort of pump action for manual operation.
A fully automatic shotgun, like the Auto Assault-12, uses a mechanism similar to assault rifles to fire, eject, and chamber a new round.
